A fantastic gig by Roy Wood last night in Sheffield, so great to see him looking so happy and enjoying himself on stage since his back operation. Also great to see The Bar Steward Sons Of Val Doonican as the support band.

The Orchestra : Teleton 2013, Teatro Centro de Arte, Guayaquil, Ecuador - 7th December 2013
The Orchestra line-up : Lou Clark, Mik Kaminski, Eric Troyer, Gordon Townsend, Parthenon Huxley and Glen Burtnik.
A few screen shots from the live broadcast of the Teleton 2013 fund-raiser in Ecuador which has raised over $1.5 million so far. The event ran for over 10 hours with The Orchestra headlining the show with a great 25 minute set performing Evil Woman, All Over The World, Xanadu, Livin' Thing, Confusion and Last Train To London.

Jeff Lynne, Richard Tandy & Gareth Malone's Voices : Children in Need Rocks - 12th November 2013
Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy appeared on stage to perform 'Livin' Thing' and 'Mr Blue Sky' live during the BBC televison Children In Need Rocks concert at the Hammersmith Apollo. Gareth Malone's Voices provided the background vocals during this fantastic performance. Both videos can be viewed on the BBC website here.

An amazing few days spent with great friends and fans alike visiting this wonderful city and attending a stunning concert by The Orchestra with the added bonus of orchestral backing by the Prague Symphony Orchestra. I was also fortunate to be invited to watch the soundcheck prior to the gig which was brilliant and thanks to the band for that opportunity.

The Orchestra : Rewind 80's Festival, Henley-On-Thames, U.K. - 18th August 2013

What a great few days we spent down in Oxford prior to travelling down to Henley for the last day of the Rewind 80's Festival along with 20,000 other music fans. It was a beautiful sunny day with great performances by Matt Bianco, Aswad, Paul Carrack, Sonia, Cutting Crew, Imagination, Go West, Belinda Carlisle, Blancmange, ABC, The Pointer Sisters and of course The Orchestra.

The first time I had seen the band perform in the U.K. since 2009 and what a fantastic performance in front of a sell-out 1,800 audience in the marquee situated on the outskirts of this quiet North Yorkshire village.
