Roy Wood's Rock & Roll Band : Holmfirth Picturedrome, U.K. - 11th December 2010
What a great show at the Holmfirth Picturedrome on Saturday 11th December. Roy and the band were in top form in front of a sell-out crowd who were definitely in Christmas party mood! Myself & Sue had a great view of the show being right at the front with the band performing all the greatest Woody songs including 'Flowers In The Rain', 'Blackberry Way', 'Angel Fingers', 'I Can Hear The Grass Grow' and newer songs including 'Big Girls Blues' and 'New York City'. Prior to Roy and the band taking to the stage, the brilliant support band The Bar-Steward Sons Of Val Doonican had the crowd in fits of laughter with their own unique performance!
Check out my Youtube Channel to watch some videos taken by myself at the concert - 'See My Baby Jive' and 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday'.
